Wadi Al Hawqayn Oman
About 2 hours drive away from Muscat Governorate, “Wadi Al Hawqayn” which characterized by its year-round flowing streams, as well as beautiful waterfalls and ever flowing water springs. It is advised to get into wadis during rainy season.
It has been described as one of the most beautiful wadis with year-round streams and waterfalls. On both sides of wadi there are lots of green areas. Around noon time it’s so amazing to sit in falls, just relaxed with natural water. It is filled with full fun for families and kids to take bath.
If you are driving from the capital, Muscat, you need to take a left turn at Al Suwaiq roundabout to Al Rustaq city. On the way you pass by Royal Oman Air force base. Then count the roundabouts on the way and take a right turn from the 4th roundabout.
And take a left turn from the T junction. Another Roundabout is there at 1KM from the roundabout, Office of Deputy of wadis is near to the roundabout on the right side of the road. From the roundabout take a right turn and 750 meter ahead you can reach the Parking place. Park the car, then take the steps down to reach “Wadi Al Hawqayn”

Wadi Bani Ghafir (Wādī Banī Ghāfir) is a wadi (class H – Hydrographic) in Mintaqat al Batinah (Al Batinah), Oman (Asia) with the region font code of Africa/Middle East. It is located at an elevation of 265 meters above sea level.
Wādī Banī Ghāfir is also known as Wadi Bani Ghafir, Wādī Banī Ghāfir.
Its coordinates are 23°30’42” N and 57°19’58” E in DMS (Degrees Minutes Seconds) or 23.5117 and 57.3328 (in decimal degrees). Its UTM position is EM30 and its Joint Operation Graphics reference is NF40-03.
